Note: The data of NetFlow table is retrieved by the show command “show ip cache flow” while the data of Top-talker table is retrieved by the command “show ip flow top-talker”. Click the button NetFlow or Top-talker to view the corresponding results. There are two types of results: NetFlow table and Top-talker table.
You can view the results displayed in the NetFlow window. In a monitored map right click the bandwidth usage of a device, the NetFlow option will be displayed if the device is configured with NetFlow. If the NetFlow is not configured in the device, a message box “The Device was not configured as a NetFlow Device” pops up.Ĥ. If the device cannot be accessed via telnet/SSH, the system cannot retrieve the NetFlow data.ģ. You can also click Home > NetFlow to open the NetFlow results pane.Ģ. NetBrain is able to retrieve NetFlow data and display the results. NetFlow monitoring is a useful tool in evaluating and analyzing network traffic, identifying who and what are consuming your bandwidth.
